Al-driven last mile logistics platform DRun, developed by DataTech Global (HK) Limited, won the Hong Kong Business Technology Excellence Awards (TEA) 2019. Datatech’s Business Development Director William Hung visioned the AI technology and big data would be the key of business development in the future.

“The project of DRun aims at offering hands to smaller-sized logistics companies often lacking resources to upgrade their services with reasonable costs to explore their blue ocean and maintain their competitivity,” explained Hung.

DRun enables route optimisation, fleet management, parcel tracking, address cleansing, and real-time communication. Thus, the client has real-time tracking of their parcel location. Driver’s routing could be optimized based on traffic, schedule or client request.

Inaugurated by the monthly magazine Hong Kong Business on 27 February, the TEA panel awarded 24 corporations across industries including DataTech to recognise their remarkable effort to integrate technology with business.
